No long tie-in: cancel with 30 days notice. Your contract term is shown on your quote. Notice to cancel is always 30 days.

Don't worry about contract terms. Your quote shows your minimum term. After that, service moves to a 30-day rolling contract with 30 days notice to cancel.

Quick answer

Your contract term is shown on your quote. Notice to cancel is always 30 days. New orders have a 14-day cooling-off period unless service activates within that time.

More detail

Your contract term with us is shown in the services section of your quote.

If it is longer than 30 days, you pay a termination charge if you cancel the service within that minimum period.

Once the minimum period has elapsed, your contract moves to a 30-day rolling contract with no line termination cost.

The notice period for cancellation is always 30 days, whether you are in the minimum term or on rolling monthly service.

We bill a calendar month in advance. If you cancel within notice, you have already paid for that time. We do not refund rental for days in your notice period.

A bill may still arrive while you are cancelling. That is normal and does not mean your notice was ignored.

All new orders are covered by a statutory 14-day cooling-off period beginning on the date you agree to our services.

We can sometimes expedite installation or activation. If your service is activated within those 14 days, you waive your right to cancel under cooling-off.

You can cancel an ongoing order up to 5 days before the transfer or installation date. Cancellation may incur a charge to cover fees from our providers.

If an ongoing order is cancelled, no additional orders will be accepted for the same name, address, or telephone number for 36 months from the cancellation date.

When your line is activated with us, we send you a summary of the services we will provide. Full details are in your terms and conditions.

If you move to another provider, they manage the transfer from start to finish. Your service with us stays active and billable until the transfer completes or you cancel through the proper process.

Contracts, cooling-off, and cancellation

  1. Check your quote for the minimum contract term in the services section.

  2. After the minimum term, service runs month to month on a 30-day rolling basis.

  3. To cancel live service, contact us with 30 days notice through the website.

  4. To cancel an order before go-live, contact us at least 5 days before the transfer or installation date.

  5. Pay any outstanding bill for the notice period.

  6. Return equipment if we ask you to when the line closes.

  7. If you want to keep your number, ask your new provider to start a transfer. Do not cancel first.

  8. After a successful transfer, your line here closes automatically.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every customer is only on a 30-day contract from day one without checking the quote.
  • Cancelling your line before your new provider starts a number transfer.
  • Stopping Direct Debit at the bank without contacting us first. That can result in a Direct Debit termination charge.
  • Expecting a refund for days covered by your 30-day notice period.
  • Not knowing that activating service within 14 days ends the cooling-off right to cancel.

Things to know

Frequently asked questions

Should I cancel with you before joining someone else?

No, if you want to keep your number. Let your new provider start the transfer.

Why am I still paying after I ordered elsewhere?

Your service stays active until the transfer finishes or you give proper notice to cancel.

I did not request a transfer

Contact us if you believe a transfer was started without your knowledge.

Is there an exit fee?

If your quote shows a minimum term longer than 30 days, a termination charge applies if you cancel within that period. After the minimum term, there is no line termination cost on rolling monthly service.

What is cooling-off?

You have 14 days to cancel a new order from when you agree to our services. If service activates within those 14 days, you waive that right.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, up to 5 days before transfer or installation. Cancellation may incur a provider charge. A cancelled order blocks new orders for the same name, address, or number for 36 months.
