Take a second call while on the line. During a call, a beep means another call is waiting.

Don't worry. Call waiting lets you hear a beep when someone else calls while you are already on the phone.

Quick answer

During a call, a beep means another call is waiting. You can switch to the new call or ignore it depending on your phone.

More detail

Call waiting is included on most Simple Telecoms lines.

Your phone may need the feature turned on in settings or with a code.

If you ignore waiting calls, they may go to voicemail.
