Transfer your number to your new address. Y
Don't worry. In most cases you can keep the same phone number when you move home with Simple Telecoms.
Quick answer
Yes, usually within the UK when you move your service to the new address with us and give enough notice.
More detail
Your number stays on your account while we move the service to the new property.
If the new address is not listed with Royal Mail, we cannot order a Physical line until it is. See My address is not listed
Tell us as early as possible so dates, router return, and connection at the new address can be planned.
The same transfer notification rules apply as when joining from another provider. Your current provider may contact you to confirm the move.
Keep your number when moving
Contact us with move date and new address.
Confirm you want the same number at the new home.
Complete any checks we need for the new property.
Keep paying until the move is complete as advised.
Set up equipment on go-live day at the new address.
Make a short test call and ask someone to call your home number back after setup.
Common mistakes
- Ordering a new number unnecessarily and giving everyone a new contact.
- Cancelling service at the old address before the new line is live.
- Not checking whether the new flat can have a Physical line if you rely on one.
Things to know
