Troubleshoot outgoing call problems. For Home2Phone customers. C

Don't worry. If calls will not connect, the cause is often the number dialled, a handset left off hook on a digital line, or outbound call barring on premium, directory enquiry, or international numbers.

Quick answer

Confirm dial tone on the phone connected to the Geemarc box, or on the GSM handset we supplied.

Step-by-step checks

  1. Confirm dial tone on the phone connected to the Geemarc box, or on the GSM handset we supplied.

  2. Geemarc box: check the Wi-Fi or 4G light is lit. Weak signal can stop outgoing calls, same as Home2Mobile.

  3. Move the Geemarc box for better signal and restart it using the left-side power button.

  4. GSM handset: move to a spot with stronger signal bars and restart the handset.

  5. Make a short test call to a full UK mobile number including the area code.

  6. Try a landline handset we supplied on the Geemarc box phone socket.

  7. Note whether incoming calls still work when reporting.

Still not working?

If outgoing calls still fail after these checks, report a fault online with what you tried and which numbers fail.
