Don't worry after a power cut. This guide is for when electricity has come back but your phone is not working yet.

After electricity returns, your Geemarc box or GSM handset needs power before Home2Phone calls work again.
During the cut the home phone may not work. Use a charged mobile for 999 if needed. See Emergency calls during a power cut
When power returns, restart the Geemarc box or GSM handset and wait for the Wi-Fi or 4G light before testing.
After power returns on Home2Phone
Confirm mains power works in the room with the Geemarc box, or charge the GSM handset.
Geemarc box: check the power lead is connected.
Geemarc box: turn off at the mains or hold the left-side power button until the Wi-Fi and 4G lights go off.
Wait two full minutes.
Turn the Geemarc box on: press and hold the left-side power button until the Wi-Fi and/or 4G light turns on, then let go.
Wait if all lights go off and come back on. Confirm the Wi-Fi or 4G light is lit, then make a short test call.
GSM handset only: power off, wait two minutes, power on, and wait for signal bars.

Common mistakes
- Relying on the power light alone on the Geemarc box. Check the Wi-Fi or 4G light is lit.
- Testing before the box or handset has had time to restart.
- Having no charged mobile as backup for 999 during the cut.
