Don't worry. Crackling, choppy audio, or echo is often a loose cable, faulty phone, low volume, or weak mobile signal on Home2Phone and Home2Mobile.

Step-by-step checks

Move the Geemarc box, GSM handset, or your mobile phone to a spot with stronger signal, often near a window.

Restart the equipment or your phone.

Try again at the same time of day the problem happened, to see if signal strength varies.

Note whether all calls sound poor or only in certain rooms when reporting.

Geemarc box: use a landline handset we supplied. We do not support other handsets on the box.

Geemarc box: swap the phone cable between the box and handset if you hear crackling.

GSM handset: restart the handset we supplied and check signal bars.
